The IYEC program provides support and encouragement for Indigenous youth aged 15 to 19.
The program is for Indigenous youth who:
- are not going to school
- want to continue with education and training and would benefit from additional support
- want to join the workforce.
The services IYEC provide include:
- assisting Indigenous youth build connections to education, training and work
- working closely with Indigenous youth and their families, communities, local schools, businesses, vocational education and training providers to help them stay in education or move into training and/or work.
