A provider is a government or private agency that provides various kinds of support for people looking for work.
JobSearch offers two ways to search for a provider: by location or quick search. In either case the first step is to choose the type of provider best suited to your needs. If you are unsure about this step have a look at the section called Which provider do I choose? before continuing your search.
Search by Location
- Highlight the type of provider on the pick list and select Search.
- Select a state or territory using either the map or the list provided.
- Select the region - you can only select one region per search.
- Select the sub-regions you are interested in. You can select multiple regions however this will make your search less specific.
- Select Search.
Quick search
If you know the post code of the area you are interested in, you can focus your search from the beginning.
- Highlight the type of provider on the pick list available and select Search.
- Enter the post code.
- Select Search.
If your search doesnt find any providers you can use the Back button on your browser to go back and check the box to include surrounding area. This will display more results.
Search results
You can now browse the list of search results for providers matching your search criteria. You are able to re-order the list using the Sort functionality at the top of the page. Use the links to display more information and contact details for each provider.
