About JobSearch
JobSearch provides a one-stop shop for job seekers. It provides information about jobs and working conditions, careers and training, unemployment programs and details of job and volunteering opportunities.

About our jobs
JobSearch is updated with thousands of new jobs each day. Our jobs database contains:
- the majority of jobs listed with every Job Network service and Job Placement Organisation around the country
- jobs advertised in some national newspapers
- Government jobs
- Defence jobs
- jobs lodged by employers directly.
If you register with JobSearch, you can choose to be matched to these jobs daily. JobSearch can then send you messages to let you know when you have been matched to suitable jobs via:
- your JobSearch profile page
- email and your profile page
- SMS and your profile page
- JobSearch Karen (on 1300 369 050).
Why register with JobSearch?
JobSearch is a free service with a number of benefits when you register. By registering:
- it will be easier for you to find jobs
- it will make it easier for employers to find you
- we will be able to put you in touch with employment service providers across Australia
- we can do some of the hard work for you by matching you to a range of suitable jobs based on your skills, experience and job match details.

Create your job match profile
To be matched to our database of jobs, you will need to create a job match profile. This requires you to:
- nominate the occupation and locations you can work in
- upload or create a resume
- extract keywords from your resume
- add your licences, and, most importantly,
- turn your job matching ON.
You will then be instantly matched to jobs based on these details.

Job matching
If you have turned your job matching notification ON, a summary of your job match profile will be made available to employers. Your skills, experience and job match details will be matched to their job requirements - automatically!
Security
Remember - we want to get the best results for you. So, your personal details entered on JobSearch are protected by cutting edge security. None of your personal information will be released to any other person or organisation unless you give JobSearch your OK.
