Employment services
From 1 July 2009, a new employment services system will be introduced in Australia.
Job Network services
Job Network is a national network of private and community organisations dedicated to finding jobs for unemployed people, particularly the long term unemployed.
Job Network services are provided by Job Network members (JNMs), dedicated to helping you find and keep a job.

Aboriginal Employment Strategy (AES)
The Aboriginal Employment Strategy (AES) provides individually tailored assistance to help Indigenous job seekers prepare for, gain and retain jobs.

National Indigenous Cadetship Project (NICP)
The National Indigenous Cadetship Project (NICP) links Indigenous students who are undertaking diploma, advanced diploma and undergraduate degree courses, with employers, in an arrangement that involves full-time study and work placements.

Indigenous Youth Employment Consultants (IYEC)
Indigenous Youth Employment Consultants (IYEC) are based with some Job Network providers. Employment consultants work with young Indigenous people, providing linkages to work opportunities or further education and training.

Indigenous Small Business Fund (ISBF)
The Indigenous Small Business Fund (ISBF) provides funding for community-based organisations for business development initiatives including feasibility studies, business planning, marketing and other facilitative projects.

Indigenous Capital Assistance Scheme (ICAS)
The Indigenous Capital Assistance Scheme (ICAS) provides Indigenous businesses access to commercial finance and culturally appropriate professional and mentoring support services.

Emerging Indigenous Entrepreneurs Initiative (EIEI)
The Emerging Indigenous Entrepreneurs Initiative (EIEI) provides funding to support initiatives which will improve the economic development, business skills and financial literacy of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The purpose of this initiative is to lead to enhanced employment and business development opportunities.

The New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) helps eligible unemployed people to start and run their new, viable small business.
