Harvest jobs help
Harvest jobs enables you to find seasonal work around Australia, search for harvest labour providers, and access towns and crop information.
To find a harvest job:
- Use the map or associated list to select the state or territory that you are interested in.
- Select either seasonal or farm hand vacancies. Seasonal work may include activities such as fruit and vegetable picking, factory work, packing and sorting, and pruning. Farm hand work can be general farm duties, tractor driving, stock work, or dairy and nursery work.
- The jobs available will display as a list with up to 10 items per page. Select Next at either the top or the bottom of the page to proceed to the next section of the list. You can re-order the list by title, location or date added using the Sort button at the top of the page.
- Select the vacancy title for the full job details.
- The job details will display with information on how to apply.
To find a harvest provider:
- Choose Harvest labour providers from the left hand menu.
- Use the map or state/territory list to select the state or territory that you are interested in.
- A list of provider names will then display below the map. Each item is a link to the contact details of that provider.
- Select a link to view details.
- Select the Back to search results button at the bottom of the page to take you back to the list.
Towns and crops
To find local harvest information you can search using towns or crops as your base criteria. You might use this search when planning your travel itinerary to find out what kind of work is available in particular regions and when the best time to find work is.
Alternatively if there is a particular kind of work you wish to do, you can find where and when that work is available.
- Use the map or associated state/territory list to select the state or territory that you are interested in. Three lists will display below the map: towns, crops and months.
- Each item on the towns and crops lists is a link to further details. When you select a link you will find more links to related information.
To search by months:
- Select the months of the year by checking the boxes on the list and selecting the Go button at the end of the list.
- Follow the links for information about the crops and towns, and to find the type of harvest jobs available in that region during that time of year.
