Jobs in early childhood education and child care workforce

Have you considered a job in child care or early childhood education?

The Australian Government will invest $126.6 million over the next four years to train and retain a high quality early childhood education workforce. The package includes:

• the removal of TAFE fees for child care diplomas and advanced diplomas
• additional early childhood education university places
• HECS-HELP debt relief for early childhood education teachers working areas of high disadvantage.

In addition to these funded measures, the Australian Government is developing a National Early Years Workforce Strategy to focus on workforce issues facing the early childhood education and child care industry.
